Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge - Summer Christmas Tags

The challenge this month is to create a set of five Christmas gift tags. Since it's Summer during Christmas in Australia, I decided to use images related to Summer, in summery colours.  Here is a group shot of the tags:

The tags were cut using the Tag Sale #3 die, and I discovered that the "Merry Christmas" stamp from the Snowflake Flurries set fit in the space at the bottom.

Here are the tags laid out:

I used Diamond Stickles on the mistletoe.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Bitty Background Blocks, Holly Jolly, Masculine Motifs, Pedal Pushers, Snowflake Flurries, Sweet as Can Be, Up, Up and Away- Papertrey Ink
Ink:  Turquoise - VersaColor, Rocket Red - Tsukineko
Dies: Holly Jolly, Flipping Out - Papertrey Ink
Others: Diamond Stickles

Silhouette Portrait - birthday card

This is the first card I completely designed using the Silhouette Portrait.
Details: Font Aharoni 700pt for the number, 60pt for the name. The offset for the green number is 2mm.
The black background is embossed using Spellbinders bricks.
Since I had left-over pieces, I made a co-ordinating tag.

February Blog Hop - Papertrey Ink

This month's blog hop for Papertrey Ink is to create an interactive card.  I've decided to start early on Christmas cards this year, so I made a pop-up tree:
I made the pop-up part using a craft knife and ruler.  The pot for the Christmas tree is made from one of the 'Love Lives Here Holidays' dies.  I drew in the tree stem using a Copic Marker, before I glued down the tree.  The base cardstock has silver flecks in it, which don't show up in the photo very well.

I made the front of the card simple:

Supplies:
Stamps: Love Lives Here Holiday - Papertrey Ink
Ink: Evergreen, Java, Cardinal - VersaColor;
Cardstock: unknown
Dies: Love Lives Here Holiday, Tree Trimming - Papertrey Ink
Others: E74 marker - Copic
