Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge - Summer Christmas Tags

The challenge this month is to create a set of five Christmas gift tags. Since it's Summer during Christmas in Australia, I decided to use images related to Summer, in summery colours.  Here is a group shot of the tags:

The tags were cut using the Tag Sale #3 die, and I discovered that the "Merry Christmas" stamp from the Snowflake Flurries set fit in the space at the bottom.

Here are the tags laid out:

I used Diamond Stickles on the mistletoe.

Stamps:  Bitty Background Blocks, Holly Jolly, Masculine Motifs, Pedal Pushers, Snowflake Flurries, Sweet as Can Be, Up, Up and Away- Papertrey Ink
Ink:  Turquoise - VersaColor, Rocket Red - Tsukineko
Dies: Holly Jolly, Flipping Out - Papertrey Ink
Others: Diamond Stickles

  1. Seriously the cutest things ever! Just grinning ear to ear right now!

  2. Love your summery Christmas take on this challenge! Great tags Kristy.

  3. OH SO CUTE!!! LOVE the summery images and color combo!!!
    Have a GREAT day!

  4. So cool! LOVE the summery tags!

  5. So appropriate for your hot holiday! LOVE them.

  6. Fun tags! I especially like the bike one. The colors are great for summery tags too.

  7. Those are the cutest tags! Love the more summery theme, great idea. It made me think to maybe use the flip flop set to make a set of tags for a friend of mine that loves all things flip flops and beach!

  8. Maybe I need to come visit you around Christmas! I live almost exactly in the middle of North America... lots of cold and snow at that time of year for us :)
Your tags are beautiful with great details and colors.

  9. Your tags are so sweet! All the details are perfect. I love the flip flops!

  10. What a great cultural/geographical reminder that Christmas isn't always cold and snow! I love these tags: color, images, sparkle. What a wonderful take on the challenge; well done, and thanks for sharing!

  11. LOVE how you approached this one. Mistletoe on the flip flops = so darn cute.
