Sophie the Giraffe?

My sister tells me that all mothers are keen on Sophie the Giraffe, a teething toy for babies.  I created a card to look like this giraffe, using a stamp from Fiskars.  I kept the colours gender neutral, which was trickier than I thought.
Supplies:
Stamps: Big Birthday Wishes - PTI, Giraffe - FiskarsI
Dies: Numbers - PTI; Others - Spellbinders
Punch: Border Punch - EK Success
Patterned Paper: Kaisercraft, My Mind's Eye
Others:Green Glitter, Corner Chomper, white pen, Copic Markers

Make it Monday #13

This week the Make it Monday challenge on the Papertrey Ink  blog is to use an impression plate and a die to selectively not impress an area.  I made a card for my nephew's 1st birthday, which is next month. He is having a monkey themed birthday, hence the monkey die cut.  I used the woodgrain impression plate for the background (as it is the only one I have) and the large cloud die for the non-impressed area.  It is hard to see in the photo, but the number 1 is covered in orange glitter and the blue paper also has glitter on it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Big Birthday Wishes - PTI
Impression Plate: Woodgrain background - PTI
Dies: Numbers - PTI; monkey - Quickutz, leaves - Sizzix, Circle & scalloped circle - Spellbinders
Patterned Paper: Animal Stack - DCWVOthers:Orange Glitter, Corner Chomper
