I decided to try out the faux leather technique from Splitcoast stampers. I found that I could have gone darker with the pink ink, as it came out lighter after heat embossing. The layers ended up too thick for my sewing machine, so the inside is a bit chewed looking. Overall though the technique was simple to do, and I would definitely use it again, maybe for just a small piece of faux leather to put on a card.
