Here is a photo of how I store my ribbons and embellishments - all by colour. At the moment, red and pink are together, and yellow and orange are together. I really need to get some more clear buckets (they are plastic take-out containers).
The only things I have separated are the buttons and bling. They are stored in small plastic containers by colour (these containers are designed for spices).
This system works for me. When I want something green on my card or layout, I just tip out the whole bucket on the table and pick something.

Father's Day card
After completing the Copic Certification class in Sydney, I wanted to practise colouring straight away. Here is my first attempt since the class:
